  Rubery Nursery School

 School Clerical Assistant Grade 2

Permanent, Full-Time (Daily 08.30-15.30)

£18,562- £20,493 pro rata

Required from 19th April 2021

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly, organised person to join our

busy school Admin Team.

 

The successful candidate must: 

Have high standards and take a pride in their work

Be able to identify and prioritise their own workload

Be flexible, well-organised and able to work in what can sometimes be a pressurised environment

Have previous office experience, preferably in a school setting

Have experience and be confident in using SIMS, computers/technology

Be a team player as well as being able to work using initiative

Be able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, parents and visitors with a good level of written and spoken English

Be able to display an appropriate level of confidentiality, data protection and security awareness

Have the ability to work calmly under pressure whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times

Have a commitment to training and professional development

 

Main duties will include:

Being the first point of contact for all visitors to school both in person and on the telephone

All admin tasks relating to our pupils

Carrying out typing and general administrative duties for members of the Management Team and Teaching staff
