A TYPICAL DAY
Oak & Sycamore (Our Three and Four Year Old Provision)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
8.45 - 9.00 am: Nursery opens supporting a flexible start to the day. During this window the children settle into the day by: -
- Meeting and Greeting
- Routines that include Self-registration and filling up own water bottle
- Free flow play indoors
9.00 am: Hello Time Key Group Session with either a Communication & Language/ Early Math’s/ Stage 1 Phonics focus
9.20 am – 11.15 am: Free flow play indoors and outdoors, alongside targeted group work.
11.30 am - 12.30 pm: Free flow lunch
12.35 - 12.45 pm: Story Time in Key Group
12.45 - 2.15 pm: Free flow play indoors and out
2.15 pm: Tidy up time
2.30 pm: Singing
2.45 - 3.00 pm: Home Time - Parents collect children between these times
Oak & Sycamore - Wednesday
8.45 - 9.00 am: Settling in (same as above)
9.00 am: Story Time in Key Group
9.20 – 11.00 am: Free flow play (same as above)
11.00 am: Tidy Up & Beginning of the week children gather belongings ready for home time
11.15 am: Home Time for Beginning of the week children
11.15 – 11.30 am: Group Time – Songs/Listening Games
11.30 am - 12.30 pm: Free flow lunch
12.30 - 12.45 pm: Welcome and settle End of the week children
12.45 - 1.00 pm: Story Time in Key Group
1.00 - 2.15 pm: Free flow play indoors and out
2.15 pm: Tidy up time
2.30 pm: Group Time – Songs/Listening Games
2.45 - 3.00 pm: Home Time - Parents collect children between these times
Please note: Part-time is two and half days, either Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning or Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.

- Welcome & Self-registration

9.15 am: Snack Time
9.30 am – 11.15 am: Free flow play indoors and outdoors, alongside targeted group work.
11.15 am: Tidy up time
11.30 am - 12.30 pm: Lunchtime
12.35 - 12.45 pm: Story Time/Rhymes
12.45 - 2.15 pm: Free flow play indoors and out
2.15 pm: Tidy up time
2.30 pm: Singing/Reflection
2.45 - 3.00 pm: Home Time - Parents collect children between these times
Willow - Wednesday
Routine is same as above. However, the beginning of the week children leave at 11.15 am and the end of the week children arrive at 12.30 pm
