Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA)

Rubery Nursery School is working towards becoming a Rights Respecting School!

At Rubery Nursery School we have a Rights Respecting culture where children begin to learn the benefits of playing, learning and living together in a diverse society. We aim to be a school where children’s rights are at the heart of our ethos and culture, to improve well-being and to develop every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential. We welcome and celebrate everyone within our school and the wider community. We respect each other.

We are working towards our Silver Award.

This is an award given to schools on behalf of Unicef. Unicef is the world’s leading organisation working for children and young people and their rights. These rights are based on what a child needs to survive, grow, participate and fulfil their potential. Rubery Nursery School children will learn about their rights by putting them into practice every day.
